One costs £250, the other £1200...

The Cambridge sounds great for the money, you have to spend a shed load
more to improve on it. It also comes with the finest remote you will
ever find.

The 640 amp has a motorised volume knob that turns itself down if you
overdrive the amp!

Oh no!! I was thinking of buying a Cambridge audio CD640! What's wrong
