Default Speaker damage

My tweeter has been crackling/cutting out for a few months, I thought it was
the tweeter its self but today I noticed the speaker wire was loose, problem
solved. Now I was just wondering if this could have caused any damage, can
anyone shed some light on it?

No its sounds as it was now, it was a slow deterioration in sound really but
now its ok. I was just worried all the cutting out may have caused some
damage to the tweeter

Well ill just have to see how they go for the next couple of weeks, if they
are still sounding bad ill have to drop quad servicing a line. I've just
burnt the voice coils on some wharfdale 8.2s, if its a simple job fixing
them then I might put then in for repair, anyway thanks for the help.
