Cordless speakers to TV problem

It might not be enough to feed headphones directly, but it doesn't have
to -
it's feeding the headphone transmitter. The headphones themselves contain
the amplifiers needed.
I think it's worth making up a phono/scart 3.5mm adapter and trying some
cordless headphones to see if they work, preferably buying from somewhere
like Argos where you can take them back if they don't work.

Yes, I see what you mean, it wouldn't work with corded 'phones, but might do
with cordless ones - my son's got some cordless headphones, so I will make
up a lead and give it a go.
