I didn't check the Ebay picture too carefully but I see what you mean. I
didn't take the grilles off the ones that I saw yesterday so they may,
or may not, have been better. But I figured that someone would find them
useful.

If you are into bargain hunting also try the New Forest recycling
centre in Marchwood and also the one in Hedge End. Both have loads of
serviceable items for sale ranging from tellys to furniture to
building materials.

I live in Hedge End but only moved here recently, where's the recycling
centre ?

A few years ago Winchester was a great place to find expensive goodies cheap
but haven't checked recently.

It is just under the western end of the Itchen Bridge, on the road that
runs between Travis Perkins and Ocean Village.

These aren't the first hifi bargains that I've seen there.
