Default Mission Cyrus Amplifier

I have a Mission amplifier but have misplaced the instruction book. I
cannot recall if it was a Cyrus 1 or a Cyrus 2 and there are not
distinguishing marks on the amplifier. Its Serial Number is 201072C
(which makes me suspect that it is the Cyrus 2 especially since I
normally buy the best system that I can afford and this was the most
expensive of the Cyrus range at the time). Can anyone advise me or
suggest where I might find out?

I see to recall that the Cyrus 2 had a connection for the external power
supply (PS/R or PS/X, or whatever they called it at the time), whereas

the
Cyrus 1 didn't. That was true at some point in time, anyway - there

seem
to
be various generations of these amplifiers.

Thanks everyone for your help. Mission technical support have kindly

offered
to send me manuals for Cyrus 1s and Cyrus 2s. Hopefully, this might

indicate
which one it is but I will check the points which have been suggested.

Thanks again,

Roger

Cyrus 1 never had a PSX port , 5 pin socket on the back . If yours has this
then it is a Cyrus 2 model .

"If the "Cyrus" logo on the front bevel is red, you have a Cyrus One - if it
is silver, a Cyrus Two."

The Mk2 models had a silver logo regardless of model , my Cyrus 1 has this
feature as well as a "flip" power switch , earlier versions had a "push
buton" switch .
