Yeah I had the SR-60's for a couple of days, agree with being a little bit
bright (and a bit one noted boomy bass). The RS-1's are alot better is this
regard, treble isn't so forward, and bass is more defined.


No such issues here, I find them quite clear and precise at all
frequencies - very much in keeping with most of the pro and user reviews
I found on the net.

Mine are driven by a Yamaha surround amp, and fed by a LG DVD player.
They certainly compare favourably to the JPW Sonata speakers I have,
indeed I prefer the Grados as I can listen at a more exciting volume.
