Ken Kessler, who writes for (among other magazines) Hi-Fi News
(formerly Hi-Fi News & Record Review), is currently writing a
definitive history of Quad, which should be published in book form
fairly shortly. Well worth looking out for.

Thanks for the information Anthony.

Does anyone have an indication of the publication date?

TIA.

According to the current issue of Hi-Fi News, the book will be launched
at the Hi-Fi Show & AV Expo at Heathrow on 26-28 September 2003.

http://www.avexpo.co.uk/

Visitors who purchase a copy at the show will apparently receive a
bonus in the form of three Quad CDs.

Incidentally, it does strike me as odd that both Hi-Fi News and What
Hi-Fi are apparently hosting competing shows in different parts of
London during the course of the same weekend. As far as I can tell,
neither AVI nor ATC will be exhibiting at either show, so I won't be
making the long journey from Yorkshire to London to attend.
