Default Beomaster 7000 to PC

Can anyone advise me how to connect my Beomaster 7000 to a PC using
Roxio Easy CD Creator 6 to record from vinyl and cassette to CD? I've
had all kinds of advice and "help" - nothing so far has worked. One
friend thinks that the strange little plug in the Line In/Out socket
[it has four pins in it] must be where the connections go - tried that
but then nothing in the Beomaster worked - so I replaced it. The
connection from the phono is a 7 pin din.

The usual way would be to use the tape out socket on the Hi-FI - usually a
5 pin DIN on B&O stuff, and feed to the line in on the sound card. This is
usually a 3.5 stereo jack. Places like Maplin sell suitable leads.
