Default M-Audio Audiophile 2496

I recently bought a M-Audio Audiophile 2496 and although it sounds great it
produces what can only be described as a fart when the system is powered
down.
Is this normal or have I got a dud?

TIA
Craig

I've used around 5 of these now in various projects and cant say I've
noticed any farting noises.

Or noises like a BS5750 fart

Thanks Tony,
It's definately just as the motherboard power goes, I suppose I could try it
in a different slot
