If they still have the black Elcap capacitors, replace them now

I just replaced the Elcaps on my speakers with all polypropylene - big
difference and quite plainly more transparent with better treble. Elcaps may
get you started, but they aren't where you want to end up. a propos
polypropylene caps for speakers, ICW - who make the caps for the top B&W models
- have a new range of Clarity Caps including the top of the range flat ones
with srew threads in the centre. Very tasty.
