Signal loss really isn't an issue with headphones unless using some really
stupid cable.


Righto, wasn't sure, it's not as bad as signal runs, but I didn't think
it was as good as speakers runs either.

Default Looking for headphone extension lead.


It only needs to be a couple of metres longer, but I can't find any
extension cables this short anywhere. That, or the one's I can find
are very low quality - like £1.99 on ebay. Most of the hi-fi stores I
can find don't even seem to sell them. Grado do a 10m one though.



Any suggestions?

Maplin - gold plated plug, £1.99 - line socket, £0.99.
300 metres of 3 core 3 amp mains cable at 20p/metre.

£68 is not that expensive for a headphone extension lead.
