Can anyone recommend a player that can utilise all the popular

audio
formats such as CD, SACD, DVDA etc.? I'm not bothered about

pictures
and video, just audio. It would have to have a line-level analogue
stereo output as well.

A Pioneer DV-575a at about a wunner will play everything (except a

7"
single) perfectly well as far as I can tell and will give you a

stonking
video picture as well, should you ever need it.....

The catch one is SA-CD. The Philips 720 is the only other DVD machine
on the market apart from the 575 that will play them.

Don't know about either with DVD-A though.
