Actually, whether I can sell these two items (and for what price)
will determine whether I upgrade to the new AVI Laboratory Series
Integrated Amplifier, or to be more accurate when.
The Quad 67 is currently awaiting a return to Quad's service
department, since a small cog wheel is broken in the transport which
requires factory replacement. Other than that, it has a small cosmetic
scratch on top of the casing. The original box is available, however
the manual isn't. It has been replaced in my system by a Meridian
507. It will of course be sold after full Quad factory servicing,
for which the invoice will be available.
The AVI S2000MI is an excellent amplifier in mint condition. Again,
the original box is available however the manual isn't (I inadvertently
and accidentally disposed of a folder containing all my hi-fi manuals
when last moving house).
I would welcome expressions of interest together with an indication of
prices that prospective buyers are willing to pay. The Quad 67 is now
regarded as something of a classic, and I am unsure of its true worth.
The AVI S2000MI I would estimate as being worth approximately £495
(just under half original RRP).
TIA.
