A little show-and-tell
Finally got round to making a web site for my audio and electronics stuff.
The address is...
http://audio.yachtsea.com/
It's under construction at the moment, and the subdomain may take a few
hours to activate. The webcam is currently pointing at the laptop's screen,
showing the output from my first attempt at an active low-pass filter.
The o/p is generated from a sweep oscillator, goes through the op-amp based
filter, and into the laptop's digital audio input. The WinScope software
(freeware) then puts the result on the screen. The red trace is the i/p
signal, the pale yellow is the filtered o/p.

It says "Page is not available at the moment".
Get new speakers, dude!

The project pages haven't been done yet, but the webcam shows the o/p from
the active filter breadboard.

I'm working on it. :-)
Gotta go - off to see Zero 7.

Cheers! Took me a while to get around to building the web site (I used my
art site as the template), but I'm glad it's done - should be a good
repository for my hifi and frying-of-components shennanigans.
Don't forget to point to anything new!!
Yup, will do.

When trying to convey the intricacies of the mechanical engineering in my
webcam directional articulation system, it was easier to post a photo...

Exactly, I like pix and links to 'flesh out' the text here when
appropriate/possible. We're in a 'Show N Tell' world these days, with the
Net and the ease of publishing a picture *worldwide* in a matter of a few
minutes.
It's all about communication - the future of the planet and the direction of
future world events rests in communication...

Yup, pictures of my gaffer-taped webcam will change the world! I've been
tarting up the site, and added a picture of the bench.

You may well larf! With all these space probes going off at the rate
they are, it's only a question of time before we **** some horrendous
alien lifeform off. Even as I type, we are probably being scruted by
some slavering reptilian warrior class of invincible monsters - a
chance sighting of your taped up webcam is quite possibly the only
thing that's stopping them launching an all-out invasion!!
(Who's to say I'm wrong....??? :-)
Everyone that doesn't believe you. Well, all those that believe it's really
Captain Crunch, who sails a boat made of cornflakes on an ocean of milk...

Fat lot of good telling us that without a link *straight* to it!!
Innit? ;-)
I don't generally do direct linking (what with that menu system and all),
but the page is here...

That's better! (No-one will go on a paper chase for a quick shufti, believe
me!)
Anyway, better than I'd hoped - your bench and *my* garage....... ;-)
