I was playing with a Henry's Radio 10 watt transistor amp I got asked to
repair. PNP germanium throughout. And probably 40 years old. It was the 15
ohm version with the 'high' HT rail. Drove a LS3/5a with it since they are
rather higher impedance than anything else I had lying around. Sounded
really rather good at the levels it was capable of.

Jeez Dave - Henry's Radio, you're showing your age.


I was in Edgeware Road a couple of years ago and noticed that there was
still a Henry's shop there - has it gone now?
