Default New amplifier time ...

Congratulations. The P100 is an excellent amp IMO, however when
selecting the valves then go for the lowest grid leakage as this affects
how the valve works in the AB1 mode of the amplifier, the lower the
leakage the better the power envelope.
The P100 was a fav of Ken Kessler for many a year,

Not surprised - it's a blinder!!

:-)

Exactly! I seriously thought at one time of getting two & going
monoblocked - you'd have to go a long way to equal that combination of
musicality and grunt. The P100 IMO, in any form, is a great power amp
soundwise even by todays standards.

In the brief time I got to hear it, I could tell it ****ed all over any 100
watt ss amps I've ever owned or had the chance to listen to.....
