Default A bit of fluff....

Only a few moments ago I called Swim to the back door (she's outside rolling
around in mud, from what I can see of it) to tell her there's a cup o' tea
made. I've got a vastly spacey/sonorous Laurie Anderson on my triodes
playing and it sounds quite enchanting (and 'big').

At the back door (not allowed in, in her muddy boots) I asked 'What does
that sound like?' She listened for a moment and then said: 'If I was being
critical, I would say it sounds a bit woolly, have you got a bit of fluff on
the stylus....??'

:-)

It was (still is) a CD......

Ya hafta fekkin' larf, don'tcha?

(I've said it before - I've got 'severer' critics round here than me! - I
thought it was sounding swell!! :-)

(Goes to prove that my SET isn't the best amp I've got for CDs, I
suppose....!!)

Or does it?

I switched amps and she though/thinks it still sounds 'woolly'....!!

You certainly do, every time some dozey chav says that even his wife
could hear it from the kitchen............. :-)

Of course, even CD can be made to sound woolly through a triode amp!

I dunno Pinky, I let you out my ****ter and within ten minutes your sticking
it to me again! (Been on the sherbert again?)

FYI, my wife lives 17 miles from here, so she'd being doing bloody well to
hear my system, wouldn't she? (See previous 20,000 references to my
'partner' whom I call 'Swim'....)

Next, read my post properly and you will see Swim was in the garden, not in
the kitchen. I'm the only one allowed in the kitchen in muddy boots....

Dozy you say? Well, maybe, but I've been in 'audio' for about 5/6 years now,
know absolutely *nothing* about 'electronics' and have built 2 amps and
fettled a number of others in that time. What have you done? - Yapped
endlessly on and on in here, like a silly schoolboy, about your 'decades' of
experience and expertise and precisely *nothing* else! Need I say more?

Chav? A retired Company Chairman and Managing Director with a Classical
education talking to a Print Room Lackey who is continually bragging about
his bling, his motah and his cheesy package holidays and *I'm* the
Chav...???

(I *don't* think so, muchacho....)

Do you *not* hafta fekkin' larf...???

:-)

Yep, or an SS amp - in fact *any* amp, ask Swim.... ;-)

Now **** off and grow up before I bin you for good.

(I don't think you have any idea of just how fekkin' *boring* you are
becoming, do you....???)

You hafta fekkin' larf at this old queen's desperate attempts to grow

Yup. It's certainly never worth reading a second time.
