Now sorted...lift up the centre adaptor and gently prise off. There
are two retaining lugs on plastic strips that can be eased inwards
releasing the adaptor upwards. I broke one but it does'nt affect
anything. Underneath is a spring and a circlip. Remove the circlip and
off it comes. Replace belt and you have a very nice compact record
deck.
