Take it to a test newsgroup, moron.
If you can post there then you can post to any unmoderated newsgroup.

Whilst I normally resist the urge to feed f**kwit trolls...
This isn't actually true, as it turned out to be an issue with my host
silently (and incorrectly) rejecting mails to certain newgroups.
I am more than aware of alt.test, having first tried a test mail there,
shortly before trying a test mail here. If you had engaged your brain
before your mouth/fingers you might have thought to check this.
Have a nice day.

Then simply reply to a thread. It's the 'test' thread which tends to annoy
some.

Good point well made.
If only the trollboys took the time to think of a sensible and
reasonable suggestion, before firing their mouths off.
Cheers,

You're making it up as you go along!

Bull****. If you can post to alt.test then you can post anywhere.
There isn't some code in your newsreader that says
"If newsgroup is uk.rec.audio. then do something totally different"

Not necessarily. Not all news servers carry all newsgroups - thankfully.
