.. .
The right woofer in my Kef 200 physically feels less supple
compared to
the
other woofer- instead of being bouncy it's quite stiff. It sounds
ok,
there
is no grinding/grating noises, but would look to get a spare.
My dealer seems a bit uninterested to get one- so anyone know of a
mail
order Kef supplier?
btw it's a Model 200 Reference centre
thanks.
I have a policy - if it ain't broken don't fix it.
However if you must - eBay is your friend or your foe.
You may need to pull out the bass drivers and check the model
number.
Hint: Check the SP number on your driver. (e.g. SP####) and make
sure the
replacement driver has the same SP number.
Have you tried KEF?
http://www.kef.com/support/faq.htm#8
They supposedly support the product for 10 years after manufacture.
Cheers,
Alan
