I know. No mention of the word 'stereo' on the record or sleeve but it
sure ain't 'mono' as I know it!
*Hold that** - it does say 'stereo' on the sleeve! (Funny ideas some o'
they Recording Engineers had in 1969!!)
(I'll take a mono recording of most things and a solo instrument *any*
day!!)
If it was recorded in a decent hall or studio, stereo captures the
ambience of that room far better than mono and is a worthwhile addition.
Although some decent artificial reverberation units can make a fair fist
of simulating this with a pure mono recording of some solo instruments.
Now I'd better get on with me painting or I know one lady who will be
stamping - on my head!! :-)
Well, that might improve your hearing... ;-)
