I wouldn't mind a Legacy myself, with 180kW of power on tap, and it

There's a guy at work who has a Forester with a 290 horse (about 215
kW) WRX engine in it. He loves blasting Beemers.................
the Forester Turbo version (GT/XT) is pretty much a WRX in a more respectable
family car guise (all the space in the back is handy with the wife and 2 kids!)
I don't know, there is something about a white-haired pensioner driving a
hatchback that isn't quite right ...
Oi! I admit to the hair (at least I still have it!), but I'm a few
years off me bus pass, thanks very much!
Sorry, I was only using the term "white-haired pensioner" which you
used yourself in a previous post ...
If you wanted street cred, you could have got an Impreza WRX. I hear the sonic
blue colour scheme goes well with tartan caps in your part of the world ...
There *is* no street cred in a WRX if you're over forty............
Yeah, point accepted. The young 'uns running around in them ruin it for
the over 30/40 crowd.
Our local farmer cum helicopter company owner has just acquired a
Bentley Continental GT, which is a *proper* gentleman's express. Big,
brutal, and will top 200mph while you swig Krug in the back...........
But what's the fun in not driving it yourself?
