Whilst I agree they're excellent, they're designed for what you say - many
connections and disconnections. Which doesn't really apply to domestic use.


Quite so. In terms of the only parameter which matters - contact
resistance - spades are far superior to Speakons. But you wouldn't
want to use them on tour.......................
