OK, it ends here - take it back to the shop, get your money back and buy a
Pioneer 575a.

There is absolutely *no point* spending serious money on silver disk
spinners these days - even supermarket DVDPs will pull all there is to be
had out of CDs (such as it is) and will play a movie and some MP3s to
boot....
