That tends to suggest to me that the amplifier's ability to communicate

An order should be placed fairly shortly.

I am now having second thoughts about this, and am considering the
ATC CA2 pre-amplifier and Active 10 combination instead. This ATC
set-up appears to be one of the true bargains in hi-fi, and the fact
that I could of course sell my existing loudspeakers to help fund it
would assist somewhat.

Does anyone have experience of the Active 10s, and of ATC's CA2
pre-amp? Some ATC loudspeakers have been criticised in the past to the
extent that they only sound at their best when played extremely loud,
however I don't remember that having been the case with the passive
SCM10s that I auditioned some years ago, so presumably it will not
apply to the Active 10s either.
