The thing is if I sell
a few CDs that'll help with the annual gas-cover, the house insurance,
car insurance, electricity, council tax, feeding the cats, feeding me,
and so on and so on!

A few years ago, a musician friend told me he'd received regular amounts
for
his creations from an online music download service based in Germany.
Maybe
that's worth looking into.

We're trying CDBaby (www.cdbaby.com for the store or www.cdbaby.net if you
are a musician looking for an outlet). They charge a small registration
fee but they seem to have got their act together and are very popular with
independent bands. They can also get your music onto many of the top
download services like iTunes or the legal Napster.

Cheers.

James.
