Anyone in the NG know abut old Roberts radios? I have a model R505 and I'm
trying to find both a mains adapter and alternative to PP9s (which are
almost impossible to get apart from the web these days).

Anyone recommend a power supply which would work with this model? The
"cheapie" that I have won't do LW/MW as the radio sounds like an angry wasp
when on A/C. I suspect something like a poorly regulated supply but
Robert's claim that their current supplies would not work with this model -
anyone agree of able to say "yes they do"?
