Its all looking a bit strange at the moment, CD as we know it won't be

around
for much longer as the major players (Phil~~s and So~y) are stopping

making
dedicated CD mechanisms. A well known UK based manufacturer is going into
turntable manufacturing, and it looks like an all singing all dancing
'multimedia' laser assembly is the only thing thats going to be available

for
specialist audio equipment manufacturers.

When I decide to buy a new high quality dedicated cd player next time

around
will I be able to? Me thinks not, I am going to have to settle for a jack

of
all trades and master of NONE.

Better get the old record player out of the loft and give it a good

polish.
