Maybe he should know that not everyone agrees with the theory behind
the Voigt Pipe.
Transmission lines, bass-reflex and sealed boxes are equally valid.
Ebay and local "Cash Converters" are good places to look for
second-hand speakers.
Out of interest, what does "agrees with the theory" do you mean the
basic physics is wrong, or do you mean its interpretation?
Take a look at all the "needle" designs on the web. On one side you have
a transmission line that's too short, on the other an improperly loaded
horn with a high cutoff frequency, and in most cases the mouth is mostly
blocked turning it into a bass-reflex that's tuned too low.
Why not just build a bass-reflex that can be easily analysed and tuned?
