I think you're all being totally unfair. I bought 7 of their "Clever Little
Clocks", which are "highly modified alarm clocks from various
manufacturers", last month, and found that the improvement in clarity when
listening to Pink Floyd's "Time" is stunning. From comparative tests, I'm
absolutely certain that I can hear no less than 7 sets of ticking and chimes
that were not discernable before I placed these superb devices around my
listening environment.
The effect IS variable I'll admit. The track mentioned above demonstrates
the capabilities to their full, probably because of the resonances set up by
the CD jewel case sitting in my carbon fibre and mud CD tower, but I can
also hear the regular tapping of the conductor's batten in classical music,
which I could not before.
Of course, rock music benefits more from the "Brilliant Pebbles", heavy
metal from the new product currently under test: "Lovely Lead", hip-hop from
"Beautiful Bone", garage from "Heavenly Half Used Can of Paint", swing from
"Nice Noose" and folk from "Awesome Ale". I've found nothing yet to make
jazz listenable, but I'm looking into "Wonderful Earwax"
You can mock, but..........................................
