Default Aesthetics versus quality (WAS Headphones for MP3 player?)

But I know nothing, I once walked out of a Linn demo because the sound

Therein lies the truth of the matter - B&O and Bose make equipment that is
designed to fit into the higher-spend domestic environment, often with
multi-room single-remote functions and TV / Video integration. There's even
a B&O player for the PC which nets into the multiroom system, very neat.

Linn used to make great hifi, they still do. But the desire for
nice-looking, wifey friendly all-in-one-box systems has made them make some
odd stuff. I still would have a classik movie for the bedroom (with Monitor
Radius speakers though).
