Default The most stable multitrack recording program....

Hi

I am doing some longtome multitrack recordings on a PC with to Hoontech 10ch
soundcards/boxes.

My problem is that I am using Adobe Audition and it is NOT capable of
recording all those tracks. After 30-60minutes it freezes.

What is the best and most STABLE multitrack recording program? I am using
Audition to edit the whole thing with - so it is only the recording part I
need to fond a better solution to than Audition.

Please help....

Peter

Are you sure it is actually freezing? It isn't possible that you are
hitting the 2GB file size limit for Windows with so many tracks?

I have newer experienced problems with wav files above 2GB. Audition has not
this lmit.

This limit only exists on FAT file systems. On NTFS you can have a file
as large as the amount of free space on the partition without any problems.
