Hello all
I realize that asking this question in a forum for hifi enthusiasts
might be like waving a red flag to a bull
Read the group's name again - it says 'audio', it doesn't say 'hifi'!!
There's plenty of MP3 users in here!
- but can anyone recommend an mp3 player
that I could hook up to the amplifier of my stereo system
(Kenwood KAF 3030R) ?
Ideally it should have a little LCD screen
so that one can pick and choose from the HD
and see what's playing etc.
Grab a laptop off eBay (there's over 2000 listed atm from 99p....) and get
an external soundcard
I use this one:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...762014-2110238
and can recommend it for the money!
And external harddrive if you need it - chase down the the 2.5 inch **USB**
(no power supply needed) Freecom 'Classic Mobile' 40 and 80 Gig drives on
the site:
http://www.svp.co.uk/products-list.p...4fce f64c3ed1
and you'll be in MP3 Heaven, 'backed up' and can take your music (all of
it) wherever you want!! (Get 2 if you've got more than 80 Gig's worth of
MP3s!!)
