Any one got a nice old turntable in the loft they wont be needing Must
be
kinda cheap?
Yes, I've got one doing nothing - a belt drive Rotel with electonic speed
controls (33/45) S-shaped tonearm with Universal Headshell and a BRAND NEW
stylus. Offered it to some wattock recently, described it to death and
never
heard another word...
Where are you located (before I bother to type any more)?
Poor little Rotel.
Every time I respond to a 'Wanted Cheap TT' post to mention this little
bugger, people take to the hills!

Swim (it was hers from new) ran it on and off for a couple of decades, my
son ran it for a couple of years. I put a new needle on it. Loaned it to Ray
for a month or so (couldn't have been so bad - got him pulling his records
down from the loft) and have mentioned it to a couple of people now without
response of any kind!
At £25 with the new needle (£15) on it, I don't reckon it's too bad - all it
does is play records like a good 'un! OK, you ain't going to get the
darkest, chilliest rendition of that scary bit in the 1st Movt. of Mahler's
First (and best) Symphony but you certainly can bop to it!
(Jeez, the heavy rubber mat alone would cost £20 to replace!)
dries eyes, puts hanky away
OK, f*ck it - I'll keep it now. (Record setup out in the garage? - there
sure as hell ain't room for another one in tha house......!)
