How Sad Has This Group Become?
 

Giggle away, Don. I've been posting seriously about amplifiers, sound,
and - with people who are on the same wavelength - details of valve
circuits. The character assassination, if you read the threads, has
been done by all the usual suspects. You may find this amusing - I
don't. I'm serious about sound and find all the personal stuff
frustrating. I've lost my temper when I was extremely frustrated with
a) infantile remarks and b) being continuously quoted wrongly, and
having things attributed to me which I didn't say. I don't post much on
this newsgroup with the exception of a few threads which I've tried to
pursue in the face of quite unnecessary insults, and frankly I have
little desire to post here on most of the subjects that interest me
because the number of people who seriously participate in a helpful way
can usually be counted on the fingers of one hand. That's it. And
believe me when I say I don't have any insecurity problems about not
posting at all, whatever people might say - I don't have to answer back
continually and I'm quite happy to let the villains of this group hang
themselves, which they do quite succesfully as it is.
