Default Is solder bad for music?

I've just got a Precious Metals CopperTech Alpha interconnect and
amongst the many "interesting" claims in the brochure was the
following:-

"It is a one piece, solder free design which produces a join that
maintains constant impedance. If it is used for 75 Ohm connections, such
as digital or composite video, then that is what you get: 75 Ohm tip to
tip. That cannot be said of soldered designs. Also we feel strongly that
solder is bad for music, no solder equals great sound!"

Can somebody please advise me how to remove all the solder from all of
my kit to get rid of this "badness"?

P.S. before anyone questions my judgement please note that I got the
cable FOC.

Take the cover off and run a blowtorch over the PCB. Your sounds will now
no longer be bad. Or good, come to that.

Wrapped joints are solder free but you'll need a wrapping tool, square
posts etc.
I have not seen any sonic comparision tests of solders i.e. common multicore
solders & wonder solder Vs wrapped but I understand wrapping makes an
excellent electrical & mechanical joint & sometimes used where severe
vibration could be a problem (not hifi) but certain armaments.

I'm told that wiring to connectors in aircraft are usually crimped as this
is more reliable than solder over the years due to vibration. But it's
nowt to do with the resistance of the joint.

In household electrical wiring, you can either crimp or solder a joint
which is to be made inaccessible - where a junction box can't be used by
regs.

Solder is very bad. It contains lead. This kills people. A whole

generation
died in Latvia digging it up. Solder also contains tin. Years ago, Cornish
miners were killed by the thousand looking for it... The newsreels tell

us
these people were only available in black and white, as well. I now use
3/8" nuts and bolts for all connections......

Why not use the reliable 'Frog' connection.....rivit...rivit...rivit.

What? You mean that if I use Lynx I'm probably not going to get the
girl?

Is it a case of educated consumers don't make good consumers?

Apply snake-oil to both equipment, connections and listeners for that
luscious sound so beloved of con-men.

I'm very confused about this advert. Lynx claims that men's sweat only
attracts other men, so why isn't the girl wearing men's sweat instead
of perfume?

Quite a few people died in Iraq from high speed collisions with small
amounts of it...............

Solder also contains tin. Years ago, Cornish
miners were killed by the thousand looking for it...

Wasn't that because they fell down the mines while ****ed on cider? Oh
dear, that brings us right back to lead poisoning.......

Ah, you have a Classe amplifier? :-)
