linn genki error message

When my Genki is switched on it emits a high pitched howl and the
display reads ERR2.
Does anyone what fault this is indicative off and any suggestions if
this is repairable or not.

ERR 2 is a Linn item reporting a fault its supposed to be a battery
fault I have only known that reported on Karin ?
