Default Mission 773 / M74 Speakers

Hi
I see that current best prices for Mission 773 and M74i speakers are both
around £200-£220.
Which are most recent? Did the M series replace the 7 series, or the other
way round?
Which would be the best buy? Or are they so different that it depends on
the rest of the system, personal preference etc?

Thanks
Ian

The M's are most recent.
I've got a pair of M74s (pre the i) The only reason I ended up with them
was because they are Magneticaly shielded and sit next to my TV. The 773's
are better reviewed, but the M74s do sound pretty good on the end of my
LP12/Naim setup.
