Default Multi-Channel Receiver vs Stereo Amplifier

I went down the same route as you some time ago and if your budget can
stretch to £350 then buy the new pioneer vsx 812.

I had a demo of this crackin amp with a rotel RA01 and B&W speakers and the
pioneer blew it away.

It also has pre outs for all channels so if in the future a really good
stereo amp comes along at sub £200 i can add it in.

The pioneer also kicks the Marantz in the nadgers when it comes to multi
channel sound. IMO.

Try it for yourself. Listen and the choice will be made for you.

Rob
