I had this deck a few years back, or at least one with a similar model

APRS button - what's it do? Only seems to be usuable in Rec-Pause mode.
Auto programme um,.. search??
I looked around a bit more and found this in article
(
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=e...40as102.tel.hr )
"APRS ili Advanced Precise Recording-level System which holds and
displays the maximum peak of the input signal level, so that once the
peak level of the source ih held, there is no necessity to re-input the
source signals, and the optimum recording level can be set."
Auto rec mute - not sure either.
This inserts four seconds of silence in record/pause mode.
OK
memory repeat/stop - ditto
Memory repeat.. dunno?
Memory stop.. when this is set the tape will stop if it encounters
00:00 during wind
After you said that, i tried the repeat function and to use it:
1. Set the counter to zero at the start of the section to repeat
2. Press mem repeat at the end of the section.
3. The deck now plays the bit in between repeatedly.
and the timer switch - 3 positions, rec/off/play
Used with a timer switch, the deck will do the selected thing when
power is resumed.
OK
Everything else on it is self explanitory.
Am I right in thinking that recording with HX Pro will only happen if
also using dolby B or C?
Um... it works all the time regardless of dolby?
Aye from various things I've read I think that is the case.
Thanks for any help received...
My memory is vague ;-)
No worries

Pretty much sorted it out now. Thanks for your post and I
hope this helps some other folks...
