This is an absolute last resort but due to the makeup of the speaker
cabinet there is no way to secure it from the front.

Okay, so according to you, securing from the front isn't an option.
Specifically why?
Ever thought of having the front of the baffle rebated to accommodate a
flush front mounting of the tweeter flange, which would normally be the
preferable mounting method for most tweeters.
