Hope it doesn't sound like a Shovelhead.

Seriously, a magnificent effort, but I would have thought that the
chances of the main bearing being exactly on the axis of the platter
would be very slight, and I don't know just how quiet the valve stem
main bearing would be, especially as the bottom ball rests on wood
rather than metal. Finally, how is the centre spindle to be fitted
*exactly* concentric with the main bearing valve stem?

Good fun though.
