Default Where is Mr. Pinkerton?

Has anyone heard from him?
He's been gone for two months without saying goodbye.
It's not the same place without the dear old fellow.

** Humm - so my experiments in the ancient art of Voodoo may have actually
worked.

There was a story circulating that he had been
"attenuated" by the para-military wing of the RIAA :-)

So do I - this group isn't any the worse for the recent lack of 'You lying
sack of ****!' &c. posts and he and I would never agree on audio matters,
but I wouldn't want to think he's come to harm.....

(Even terminally deluded regular posters are more use to a newsgroup than
silent lurkers....!! :-)

Good riddance to the biggoted, racist, inflammotary **** I say. It's a
better place without him.

I disagree - it is a much more boring place without him. Sure he
stirred things up here, but when trading insults he was just as much
sinned against as sinning. If he has a "failing" it is one of not
suffering fools gladly. Vanilla ice cream and magnolia coloured walls
are not to my taste - I prefer a little spice and colour.

Well, if nothing else, at least Pinky could spell!! ;-)

No, I think you'll find Pinky usually started the insults and almost always
deserved the responses he got - like poor parents, many people only see the
'retaliatory blow' and a robust *defence* will usually be branded as
'aggressive' in the end...

Yet your tone throughout the interminable crapfests was usually one of
moderation?
