Default suggestions on a decent integrated amplifier

Hi,

Just wondering what people's opinions on a decent integrated amp would be to
go with a Denon DVD2900 and Monitor Audio Silver S6.

I dont listen super loud and i prefer a nice tight sound that stays faithful
to the original source material - no bommy bass or exaggerated treble.

i listen to all sorts of music , but in particular i like Dead Can dance,
New Order, David Sylvian, Durutti Column, alot of the stuff that has comeout
of the Real World label, lot of female vocal stuff (DCD,EBTG, Beth
Orton,Cocteau Twins, Tracey Chapman) and some rocker stuff like Husker Du,
Front Line Assembley and a fair of the chill out stuff - cafe del mar, real
ibiza etc.

Amps I've looked at include so far ,the Marantz PM7001, Denon PMA1500, Rotel
1062 (and maybe the 1072). ristish brand like Arcam, Cambridge and Naim are
a possibility but tend to be prett expensive here in OZ thanks to the
exchnage rate and transport costs.

thanks

Dave

Have you rejected the above, and if so why? The PM 7001 is getting
rave reviews right now.

And Arcam integrated amps can sound surprisingly good if matched with the
'right' components. The '9' series integrated, together with the same series
CD player were way ahead of many far more expensive products last time I
listened to them (on my own speakers).
If I didn't need another audio system like a hole in the head, I might have
bought both of them.

No havent rejected any of the above, they would all seem to fit in with what
im looking for - the mp7001, pma1500 and ra1062 all seem pretty popular
