You want to hear the gnashing sounds its slavering jaws are making.
OK, not audio, and it is a big file, but take a look at the monster I
have by the shed.

Nasty....

You know they're big when you go to whack them with a stick and they wrestle
it off you and whack you with it!!

:-)

(Just kidding - I don't *murder* anything!! ;-)

Indeed a magnificent specimen. I doubt you have much of a fly problem. :P
BTW, nice photo too. :-)

Cheers,
Alan

Nice... and nice bit of macro work too. What camera/lens did you take
that on?

Not *that* macro - bloody great beast. It's a Canon Ixus 700 - little
point and squirt job.

Heh... yeah, those little Canons are pretty good actually. I've got a
SureShot A95 (5Mpx) for happy snapping (no, SNAPPING, not slapping!) and
it often impresses me. Bought it after going to a friend's 21st and
realising there was no way in hell I was going to be able to take my
decent camera (EOS-300D) in with me!

Currently got an EOS-20D, 10-22mm, 17-85mm IS and 75-300mm lenses.
(Yeah, I do a bit of photography as well...)

Well, I still have my Pentax ME Super - in a box under the stairs with
all its bits and bobs. Don't suppose I'll ever use it again since
digital came along.

Get it out! You could have the best of both worlds -
I recently de-boxed my Pentax ME SE after I discovered how well my Epson
2400 scanner deals with B/W negatives, and have re-discovered the joy of
fiddling with lenses and B/W developing tanks etc, but none of the
potential mess and expense of darkroom processing.

Which just goes to prove that you can get pleasing results from a scan
at ENORMOUSLY lower resolution than a digital camera offers :-)
