I believe the components are as those detailed for the 'Console Cabinet'
on http://www.werple.net.au/~kiewavly/Curiosities.html. The tuner is as
pictured at the bottom of the page. There is also a single driver, which
from the above page I would assume is from a Leak 550, but don't have
readily available to check.

The items are all superficially in excellent condition, and have been well
stored, although are of unknown functionality. I'm technically competent,
but have absolutely no experience with valves, and hence have no idea how
to safely test the equipment without damaging it. Are there major things
to avoid, or is it simply a case of connecting things up and feeding in a
suitable input signal?

Can anyone give me an approximate value of the above components? Is there
important to ascertain, beyond presumably whether it works? Is the best
place to sell them likely to be eBay, or would I do better tying to find a
specialist dealer?

for you on a commission basis:

Forget selling it *to* a dealer or you will get next to nothing for it!

Thanks very much, I'll see if I can have a chat with them tommorow. If not,
as you say, it's eBay. I spent a few hours yesterday carefully
photographing all the equipment.

If it's convenience, consider a UK dealer, but if it;'s money you want
then ebay every time, and as Keith says plenty of photos. this 12.1 is
worth serious money.

when you have put it on ebay, put a note on the Leak list
By doing this you'll contact the Asian
collectors who go mad for these things. You should really be selling
this to Hong Kong to get the right price, so list it worldwide on ebay
with a fair leadup period like 10 days. Be sure you have Leak and 12.1
in the header. Do a search on ebay worldwide for already sold 12.1s to
get an idea of price (sorry - just did, none there).

Definitely tell the Leak group, or you'll lose money.
