Hi all,
I`ve been given a SphereX XBox 5.1 surround system for use in the living
room. Sounds nice enough to me, has all the connectors I need etc, but i`m
having problems finding speaker stands that are suitible. All the stands
i`ve seen so far are too narrow to pass the RCA connector all the way down,
and don`t allow room to pass the cable out the bottom of the speaker and at
an angle, and still secure the speaker to the stand. The speakers have a
screew hole in the rear which is wider than the screw supplied with the
stands I`ve tried so far (which are advertised as having a universal fitting
kit). It`s difficult to measure the scew hole however, because it is
slightly recessed (not too much, just enough to make it hard to get the
width of the hole).

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good source of speaker stands that
might be suiting, or even know somewhere that would sell them online? There
is a dog in the house, so any free-standing stands would hve to have a
fairly stable base, or wall mounted brackets would also be fine.
