Default Where to buy a digital dictation machine

I need a handheld digital dictation machine which I can use to record up to
15 hours of talk, and then transfer into my PC in mp3 or other format via
USB. I then need to convert it to text. (If I could convert it into text in
the hand-held, so that I could check that the text is correct as I speak,
that would be better, but I've been told that this is an unrealistic
aspiration). The dictation will be made in a noisy diesel vehicle, and will
probably be made with a head-mounted microphone. I'm looking at the
Panasonic RR-US395S, does anyone have any better ideas?

I was thinking of buying something in Argos, but they have excluded all of
their dictation machines from their 16-day money back offer. Can anyone
think of another shop where I would be able to return it if the
dictation-in-a-diesel-vehicle thing didn't work satisfactorily?
