Kieth,

Yes I second you on listening to a Vinyl is a truely different feeling
to conventional CD's. The sound is so dynamic and pure.

I guess I have to just get used to listening to vinyls and stop
comparing them to my CD's.

Cheers and thanks

Max

Interesting you should say that - I suppose it could be fairly argued that,
from a *technical* standpoint, your remark is not correct on both counts,
but let's not go there......

....instead just enjoy the music wherever it being played and whatever it is
being played on!

I listen to music/speech on my main system, the radio in the bathroom, the
radio in the garage/workshop and also in the car - I also hear movie
soundtracks and telly sounds on the HT setup. (About the only thing I don't
do is 'music on the move' with portable players!) I have my own preferences
but my expectation from all these various sources and different locations
varies and I don't waste too much time and energy comparing them.

One last point, in case you are not aware - most of the Ortofon range are
*stylus upgradable*, if you want to spend money on different needles. Handy,
because it means you don't have to remove the cart to try summat different
(better??) if you can work carefully.....
