What do you play?

Ry Cooder - Bop Til You Drop - I Think It's Going To Work Out Fine

Vinyl version I hope. The CD version (at least the one I have) is bloody
awful ;-)

Stevie Ray Vaughan - Couldn't Stand The Weather - Tinpan Alley

Roger Waters - The Pros And Cons Of Hitch Hiking - 5.01am (the Pros And
Cons Of Hitch Hiking Part 10)

Chris Rea - Dancing With Strangers - Curse Of The Traveller

Survivors - Survivors - Priority Blues

Pink Floyd - Pulse - Comfortably Numb

Pink Floyd - Pulse - Run Like Hell

Chris Rea - The Road To Hell - Daytona

Frank Zappa - Joe's Garage Pt II & II - Watermelon In Easter Hay

JJ Cale - Grasshopper - Drifter's Wife

Albert Collins, Robert Cray, Johnny Copeland - Showdown - Black Cat Bone

The Alan Parsons Project - Eye In The Sky - Psychobabble

RMS - Centennial Park - Hoover The Duvet

Rick Wakeman - White Rock - White Rock

Some bloody marvellous music in that list Kurt. Next time you buy some
kit, I'll bring the beer! The only problem is I'd enjoy a lot of that
stuff even if it was on a Dixons-special.

I was wondering about that - the CD is pretty dire. Happens sometimes, like
Miles Davis' Porgy and Bess. Great album, though.

I don't recall a reissue - certainly this is one case where the vinyl
mastering (from a relatively early digital studio master) far exceeds
the lousy job done for the CD version. Strange, really, how Warner
Bros. have neglected the Cooder back catalog given the attention he's
received courtesy of the Buena Vista Social Club recordings. Really
good remasters of the WB albums (and numerous soundtracks) would be a
worthy addition to any collection.
